Coffee or headaches with your website maintenace?
Let me tell you a little story, it may be familiar to you. A certain lady commissioned a designer to build her website. The initial cost wasn't too high and she had no web design skills whatsoever. The site was built, and then the headaches started. The design company charged her to receive the calls then charged her for the updates, which usually took more than one phonecall and were often done sometime never. The site ended up costing her well over £1,500, then she found out that the webspace and the domain name was registered to the design company. After spending all that money, she had nothing and little recourse. Doesn't that sound like a headache?
At MouseWaggler, things are different. We agree on a price with you for your site and that includes not only the site itself but everything you need to maintain it. As we develop the site, we'll put it up on our own webspace until you decide it's ready to go for the price we can agree on. You purchase the webspace and the domain name so it becomes yours. Then we'll put the site on your webspace for you and it will run it under your domain name. After that, all you need to maintain your site is a keyboard in one hand and a cup of coffee (or whatever you prefer) in the other. A few clicks here, fill in the form and press the button is about all it takes to maintain yor site. The updates are to all intents and purposes instant, as soon as you see the page refresh your site is updates. And as long as you have access to the internet, you can work on it in your time and not have to rely on someone else. All you have to do is you type the right thing in the right box, the site takes care of the rest. All you need is common sense and perhaps basic word processing skills.
Oh, and that lady we were talking about at the start? We built her a site and now she updates what she wants, when she wants. So the story had a much happier ending.
